Warranty, Parts & Returns Policy
Information about service warranties, supplied parts, faulty goods, returns and mandatory consumer guarantees.
1. Mandatory rights
This policy supplements and does not replace rights under applicable consumer law. Consumers may have mandatory remedies where goods, digital content, digital services or workmanship do not conform to the contract. Any commercial warranty is additional to those rights.
2. Service workmanship
Vistanova Global Ltd, trading as Tech Solutions Cyprus, performs services with reasonable care and skill. If the same authorised work appears not to have been performed correctly, contact info@techsolutionscyprus.com promptly with the service reference and symptoms. We may inspect the item and, where appropriate, repeat or correct the affected work within a reasonable time.
A written quotation or invoice may state a voluntary workmanship or part warranty period. If no commercial period is stated, this does not remove statutory rights.
3. What a voluntary service warranty does not cover
Unless expressly included, a voluntary warranty does not cover:
- a different or unrelated fault;
- pre-existing damage or a condition disclosed as uncertain;
- liquid, impact, electrical, fire, corrosion or pest damage occurring after service;
- malware reinfection, unsafe browsing or compromised credentials;
- customer or third-party alteration, repair, overclocking or unsupported software;
- consumables, batteries or normal wear beyond the written coverage;
- manufacturer, platform or network outages;
- data loss, where data recovery or backup was not an expressly guaranteed deliverable.
An exclusion is applied only where relevant to the failure and permitted by law.
4. Parts and goods supplied
The quotation should identify material parts and whether they are new, refurbished, compatible or customer supplied. Supplier or manufacturer warranties may apply in addition to rights against us as seller. A customer-supplied part is not warranted by us as a product, but our installation workmanship remains subject to the applicable service standard.
Consumers purchasing goods from a professional seller in the EU normally have a legal guarantee of conformity. Remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or termination depending on applicable law and circumstances. We will not describe a statutory guarantee as an optional paid warranty.
5. Returns and change of mind
Distance and off-premises consumer purchases may carry a 14-day withdrawal right, subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Details are in the Cancellation, Withdrawal, Refund and Rescheduling Policy. A returned good may be inspected as it would be in a shop; compensation may apply for diminished value caused by use beyond that inspection where the law permits.
Customised goods, unsealed software or fully performed services are treated under statutory rules and only after required disclosures and consent. Business purchases and in-store purchases do not automatically carry the same change-of-mind right unless we agree one.
6. Return procedure
Contact info@techsolutionscyprus.com before sending an item. Provide the invoice or service reference, the issue, contact details and relevant photographs. We will provide reasonable return or inspection instructions. Do not send devices containing unnecessary sensitive data; maintain a backup and remove credentials where practical.
7. Remedies and refunds
We will assess the cause, contractual scope, statutory rights and available remedy. A refund may be reduced only where permitted, for example to account for lawful diminished value or a proportionate service already supplied after an express early-start request. Refund records and credit notes remain linked to original accounting documents.
8. Future EU guarantee notice
If we sell consumer goods online when the EU harmonised legal-guarantee notice becomes mandatory, the current approved notice must be displayed in the required form and languages. The dashboard and legal review checklist should be updated before that obligation applies.
9. Contact
Warranty and return claims should be directed to info@techsolutionscyprus.com.
